Last Sunday morning we focused on Mark #1 of healthy churches— Expositional Preaching. Here are several reminders of why we believe in preaching at Rocky:
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17
“Of His [the Father’s] will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” James 1:18
“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:17

ReplyDeleteI am extremely grateful to our GOD for you and the way you bow to HIM in Jesus Christ!The WORD is our Life!We need to study the WORD so that we might know God our Father in His Son Jesus our Lord and Savior!HE desires for us to love Him and know Him and without His Word we are lost!I am so grateful for your perseverance in preaching/teaching the full counsel of GOD!I am praying for you with joy in Christ Jesus our KING!!!
I am excited as we study together the 9 Marks of a Healthy Church but more excited to learn how I can be a healthier church member myself. Many thanks to you and the elders for sensing God leading us to this study!
