This is great story and challenged me (when I really needed it) to look at my supposed "selflessness" against the metric of what God did for us through the Cross. I fell infinitely short. Quite honestly, I do expect something for my labors of love, but God did what He did fully knowing that He would be rejected, despised, and even cursed. Oh what love is that!!
